A crew of 6 (you + 5 staff) is $72 a month. On an app that charges about $48 per person, owner included, that's $288.

No. TradePal handles quoting, scheduling, timesheets, invoicing and job costing. Keep using your current process for rebates and grid paperwork.
Can I take a deposit when the quote's accepted?+
Yes. Invoice the deposit and it's taken off the final invoice.
