Terms of Use

Last updated 9 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between your business and Orbit Systems Pty Ltd, which runs TradePal (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using TradePal, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your account

  • You're responsible for your account and for the people you invite to your business.
  • Keep your login details private and tell us if you think someone else has used them.
  • The information you put in TradePal must be accurate and something you're allowed to use, including your clients' and staff members' details.

Free trial and subscription

  • New businesses get a 14-day free trial with every feature. No card is needed to start.
  • After the trial, TradePal is a monthly subscription: a base fee plus a fee for each staff member, as shown on our pricing page. Prices are in AUD and GST is added at checkout.
  • There's no lock-in contract. You can cancel any time, and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part months unless the law requires it.
  • If we change our prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.

Card payments from your clients

If you turn on card payments, payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms, and the money is paid to your Stripe account. We may charge a small platform fee on each card payment, shown to you before you turn the feature on. You're responsible for refunds and disputes with your clients.

Fair use

Don't use TradePal to break the law, send spam, upload harmful files, try to access other businesses' data, or interfere with the service.

Your data

Your business data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run TradePal for you, as explained in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us for a copy of it, and you can delete your account at any time.

The service

  • We work hard to keep TradePal running and accurate, but we can't promise it will never have downtime or errors.
  • TradePal helps with quotes, invoices, timesheets and pay calculations, but you're responsible for checking them and for meeting your tax, award and employment obligations.
  • We may improve or change features over time. If we remove something important, we'll give you notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Where the Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that can't be excluded, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying for it to be supplied again.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using TradePal at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay, and we'll give notice where it's reasonable to.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will let you know about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions? Use the chat on our website and ask for a person.
